Columbine leaves are gone!

I have 3 beautiful columbine plants in my woodland border. Two are blooming and doing beautifully. The third has lost it's leaves. There are bare stalks and flower buds on it but no leaves. I don't see deer or rabbit damage on anything else. Oh where, oh where did the little leaves go?

Columbine sawfly? They can, and do, defoliate the plants almost overnight here. Look for tiny worms (really larvae) -
