You may end up with clover issues. I have a cottage type garden going so the clover pulling doesn't bother me. You have to pick your pests sometimes.

One thing about the rabbit droppings, my neighbor used to have rabbits and he dumped the pellets in the woods behind the house. (property we bought right after). I noticed a weed emerging from these droppings. I didnt know the name of it at the time or that it was invasive, but it turned out to be stilt grass which is now all through our woods.I wish I had known.7 years ago we didnt hear about stilt grass in this area.

In my garden I used to use blood meal as a temporary solution - You have to reapply after rains but, it kept the rabbits away from most plants until the plants were large enough to be uninteresting, to the rabbits.

Then, thanks to the rabbits, we ended up with white clover in the lawn. The rabbits seem to prefer this to almost anything else in the garden so, that seems to be another good solution.

BUT, for the past two years we have gone from a resident population of 30+ rabbits to ZERO - a fox moved into the neighbourhood! :o)

Rabbit pellets are also the best fertilizer you can get anywhere but not to use too thick.
