Joe Pye Weed

Hello,

This is my 2nd year with this Joe Pye Weed plant and this season the lower leaves are turning brown and drying up. I'm afraid it is going to work its way all the way up to the top of the stems and I'll eventually lose the plant. Any suggestions? It gets morning and a bit of afternoon sun. It looked great last year! Now this! Thanks.

Sounds like lack of water, daisybelle1. I've had Joe Pye for about 5 years now, and they're coming up all over...sun, shade, good soil, rock-like clay.

If you do happen to lose the plant, let me know. I can send you a pound of seeds.
