I don't grow them, but I think it take 5-9 years before they bear fruit.

I'm not sure about the Kolomikta part, but I planted a pair of hardy kiwis some 20 years ago. It took probably 7-8 years before they fruited but the wait was well worth it. We pick 10-12 gallons of the delicious fruits almost every year. I tried the jams, etc. but really like them fresh best. They keep for months in a refrigerator, too. Ours grow on an old corn crib as they do need a very large sturdy support.

Sounds like I have awhile to wait............ Do you fertilize your Kiwi vines, mulch or ect.? What color are your Kiwi fruit on your vines? Redish green or all green.
