Hi from Catrina

Hi to all my WI GW pals, just got a tip from Elvis about our brand new forum. Hip hip horray!! I'm too busy to surf just now, what with the holidays and getting ready for my upcomming shoulder surgery in January, but will comb it well while I'm laid up.

Time to start trading then too. My seed box is a mess, but I did get the potting shed and greenhouse cleaned up as I won't be able to do that later.

TTFN,

Catrina

    Hi Catrina:

Glad that you said hi and good luck to you.
I'd like to hear more about the Shakespeare garden you worked on . Do you have any photos?

Hi again and thanks for all the well wishes. It's the last day of 2005. A fair to good garden year. There's always next year right!! I'm not really good with the photo thing. I did have a digital camera but dropped it and it's a goner. I had a few pictures of the shakespeare garden, some will have to be scanned and the digital ones weren't that good, it was really early in spring when I took them, but you can see the setting, arbor and my cute kids. Photos is another thing I plan to work on when I'm laid up so I'll probably come across them then and maybe you guys can help me figure out how to do it. When I have try to do it before it seemed that my photos were too "big" to post on GW.

    Hi Catrina,
Good luck with your surgery. I live near you, in Medford, I have family in Wausau also. I am looking forward to a great gardening year in 2006 and I can hardly wait to start winter sowing. I already have big ideas for the upcoming year! This new forum rocks!

    Catrina,
Read in one of your postings regarding friends in SW WI. Originally from Lancaster for many years. Left 10+ yrs. ago and am interested to know if they have an organized garden club. 66+ but still love to get out into the flower garden. So happy to have run across this forum for just US. Hope your surgery was successful and recovery going well.

    Hi Yal,
I'm on my way to recovery. Doc gave me the okay to type yesterday but my therapist said just 10 min at a time at first. He said I was the poster child of shoulder reapair. The shoulder hardly hurts at all compaired to the elbow. I also had ulnar nerve transposition and carpal tunnel. Anyway, I'm itchin to get my fingers in the dirt. I have to wait until this incision on my hand heals up though. I did put a few spinach, lettuce, radish and boc choy seeds in the green house. Since it is so unseasonably warm I figure they just might sprout. Then if they do I'm gonna try covering them with hot frames and wall-o-water inside the greenhouse and I just might get some fresh stuff in march. Thanks again for all your well wishes. I haven't been typing much so far as I was hunt and peck before, but I was here lurking. What a great forum. I always knew WI had the friendliest people.
