I agree. Another reason to plant them together is that you need both sexes to for the female plants to produce fruit. If you planted two clumps of two plants each near each other, your odds of getting at least one fruiting female would be pretty high.

Oh! Please tell me where you got the seeds to grow Spicebush. I've been looking everywhere for it as it's a native in my area that has been wiped out. None of the garden centers carry spicebush as part of their stock either. Our woods is very small but I'd still like to plant a small stand of 3-5 spicebush.
