Printing on demand, that is. I hated it when Oxford University Press started making my book available only this way, with too-black print and former color plates converted to b/w. But now I'm faced with publishers not liking my new book because it's too short, and one alternative is to go with Exlibris, iUniverse or some other. Have any of you had experience publishing a book outright for POD?
