I have covered this territory pretty thoroughly in the past and this forum had a pretty short life span because those who consider themselves garden writers (with a few noticeable exceptions) are not prepared to put anything into the pot once they have taken out what they need.

For instance, at this forums inception Ken Druse, a garden writer admired by all came in with questions mainly designed to boost the sales of his latest book. This successful writer was not prepared to give anything back and it set the tone. Eddie was very generous but like me he saw that we were wasting our time as it seemed that unless there was money involved people were not prepared to write anything. We had a brief creative period but Elizabeth was disneyed for assuming that this was a forum for smart imaginative people and now we have...nothing.
