Those of you that missed the Garden Writer's meeting in Valley Forge, PA missed a terrific event!

I got to meet lots of friends and make some new and hopefully useful contacts. I also got to meet the infamous Eddie!

We saw small private gardens, larger public gardens and many in between gardens. Longwood was spendid (as ever) complete with a terrific dinner, fireworks and fountains all alight for a musical show at the end of the evening. Garden art was everywhere, mostly tasteful. Even educational sessions too on how to pitch to editors and use the internet for serious research.

Next yr we are in Oklahoma City at the end of September - ALL garden writers should really consider these events
