Yellow-throated Warbler, LA Waterthrush

I kept hearing the male Yellow-throated Warblers singing so finally went out this morning to get a photo.

I heard a thin, high whistle and looked up in time to see an adult Broad-winged Hawk sailing past overhead

I went to the end of the field by the creek and found the Louisiana Waterthrush pair

The male wasn't happy about my intrusion

    It's nice to see warbler shots again! I've not heard or seen any yet this spring - but I've had zero time with the birds so it could be that I'm just missing them :^(
