Most mosquitoes are active in the early morning and in the evening - keep the dogs in a screened porch or inside during those times.

Check your yard carefully for standing water - it only takes a week for a small puddle to produce dozens of mosquitoes.

They spend the day resting on low bushes or in tall grass: keep the area around your house clear of brush and weeds.

Here in Old Orchard Beach Maine we have a ball park near a small pond and the mosquitoes are a real problem. We need to control this some how as our spectators are getting eaten alive. Does anybody have any ideas? WE need HELP!

Ask the health department if there are mosquito-eating fish they can put in the pond.

Don't just blame the pond: check the entire park for boggy spots and standing water.

I'd suggest applying the appropriate amount of BtI to kill control the larvae as well as introducing aerifyers.
