I think those are wheel bugs or assasin bugs. I had some hatch on a dogwood last year.

Yes I was going to send you there also. This is what they said about them. Arilus cristatus, family Reduviidae. Females lay their eggs in a roughly hexagonal shape.

Those are keepers for sure....good little guys...just don't handle them.
