Hello:

I live in south Florida and one day I noticed bees licking the undersides of the leaves on my fiddlewood bush. They were most interested in the area near the stem and were only licking the undersides of the leaves, not the tops. Are they collecting some kind of secretion? I have plenty of flowers and they feast on the nectar of those. I just thought this was odd and I'd never noticed it before.

Thanks,

Julie
