I live in Oklahoma, as was at the lake the other day, and saw this thing, crawling through the grass.

I doesn't look big from the photo, but it was atleast 8" long... (Compare it's legs to a blade of grass, in the photo)

I've seen tiny brown centipedes before, but this looked more like a snake with legs.

Does anyone have any clue what type it may be? And is it a common insect in my area?
