Identify this insect please

I found this amongst my tools, I thought it was a dust ball, but it is a spider or beetle or something. I have a glass over it now, want to release it, but would like to know what it is first. Thank you in advance. Sorry for the poor pics and I brightened it with levels in photoshop to make it more visible.
It looks greyish white in real life.

Some kind of ambush bug, possibly. Not spider or beetle.

just didn't know if there were rare or not or even dangerous, going to put it outside in a safe place.

That is an immature Masked Bedbug Hunter. Also seem to go by the name of Assassin Bug. The mature ones are shiny black and have a long tucked-under snout. You might see them flying around your bedroom. But the immature ones have a sticky coating which they use to camouflage themselves with dust.
Even though they can bite if provoked, they are considered beneficial.

Interesting, a lint-covered bug. Thanks for the info. Ambush bugs are a subfamily of the assassin bug family.
