green lynx spider?

Take off the question mark. (!) Green lynx spiders, a successful garden predator. Terrifically beautiful animals.

Hi aries..my mom..bless her..is the same way..good or bad, if it's a bug kill it! I've never been like that..kill on site..however, since coming to this forum...I rarely kill anything till I get it ID'ed..Someone posted here great words of wisdom I passed to mom the other day as she was about to kill a spider..they were.."if you kill that you may just end having to kill everything it would have killed" (words to that effect) then I threw in "it kills earwigs"..I don't know whether it did or not..but she hates earwigs..as far as I know..the spider lived..

The one problem with these particular spiders is that they often set up housekeeping on flowers, thus their prey becomes those insects that frequently visit flowers: bees, butterflies and moths, other pollinators. ;-(

I had one who put in a full work day on my hummingbird feeder all throughout the summer. She kept it free from ants and wasps. Now THAT was a helpful spider!
