This insect was found on a tree at the house I just moved into. There are two of these insects and I can't find them on the internet. They appear to be eating the leaves. I thought they were laying the eggs of the 'larvae' in the 'nets' on the leaves. When I looked again today, I noticed the unknown insects had moved to a new leaf, and the one they'd been on before, was now dead, brown and 'larvae-less'.

Could you please tell me waht these insects are?

Sorry for the poor image, I didn't know if it could jump or bite me.
