Hi smjmbeard,
The mirrors are attached to a piece of plywood which again is attached to the window sill with a long steel angle. You could probably rock them a little if you wanted to, but since the only time you need to touch the mirrors are when you clean them, it is not a problem. It is so worth it, given that you enjoy your view and groom at the same time. By the way, the windows are placed just low enough that you get the view, but high enough to provide privacy.
