Will this work?

We have a 6.5' wide by 11.5' long bathroom. Currently along the wall there is a 66" long single sink vanity, next to the toilet, next to the shower/tub at the end of the room. They are all in one long row.

As part of our remodel we will be adding a door, from the hallway, at the end of the room at the beginning of the vanity. Currently there is a pocket door across from the vanity which leads to my daughter's room. We are unsure whether we will leave the pocket door when we add the door from the hallway. The goal is to make it so both kids share this bath, so we can leave the 3rd full bath for guests and such.

My idea to to add two small pedestal sinks with a tall pantry/linen cabinet in between along the 66" space. The spacing would be starting from the wall: 2" space, then 19" pedestal, 4" space, 18"wide tall linen cab, 4" space, then 19" pedestal sink.

The depth for the sinks and the cab are all about 18".

I plan to trim out the cabinet with some crown, some bead board and put a small towel bar on each side for each vanity area. Above each sink will be a recessed medicine cab and a cute sconce.

One thing to keep in mind is that our area (somewhat rural and isolated from a major city) is in a decor time warp. We looked at over 60 house when we bought last year, in the upper end of this towns price range. Every single house had builder oak cabs, brass fixtures, no natural stone or granite in sight. You get the idea.

Will my idea work? I'd love the kids to have their own sink area since they will now be sharing a bath.

Any input would be so helpful! Thanks!
