Fascinating...I have to look some of those things up because I don't even know what they are. I have just started to collect Pacific Northwest studio pottery from about 1945 on (I live in Oregon and there's a long interesting history of 20th c. art pottery here), and getting into glass a bit (coming to Blenko--Husted and Myers, mostly -- late but I still find pieces every so often), and I do love quirky folk art things as well. Not incredibly valuable but I've always valued a story more than anything :)
