Non-standard width vanity, needs new top

The vanity in our powder room seems to be a non-standard width (31"). The top is made of white tile, which has cracked over the years. We'd like to replace the top (and sink and backsplash) without replacing the entire vanity (assuming I can get the top off without destroying the cabinet -- I haven't actually tried that yet).

I wonder if anyone else has been through this and has recommendations for the path of least resistance. Lowe's said they can have their tops custom made in any size, and it sounds like the price would be ok (around $500, vs. under $200 for the standard sizes). I looked a couple of places online and it came closer to $800-900, though maybe the quality is better.

Buying an entire new vanity superficially seems like the easiest thing. However, we have vinyl flooring that I believe only goes to the edge of the current vanity; if we got a smaller (standard sized) one, the edge of the flooring would show, so we'd probably end up having to replace the floor too. And the moulding and such probably wouldn't match anymore, so we'd also have to replace that. And if we're going to have the toilet out to replace the floor, we might as well replace it too. If we're going to have a new vanity, toilet and moulding, we should probably also replace the mirror and light fixture. Hehehe. You get the point -- it's a slippery slope. The bathroom is in pretty good shape other than the counter, so I'd like to fix the minimum possible.

I'd love any advice.
