I too design and build furniture. When I get the time I will post some pics for all to see.. please realize that what I say is not malicious. The brass latch looks cheap and should be concealed. The functionally is too offbeat for the mainstream. There are chair table's out there, I built a few myself.. dont despair. Focus more on function and blending different materials, give us an unique twist on a common item. If the target is designers, quality, form, function and uniqueness is mandatory. Ppl will pay for these features. Good luck to you
