I would look at some of the beautiful modern wallpapers and do an accent wall behind the bed :)

But first, and most important, I'd choose the bedding and draperies. The wall finish should come last.

Thanks I plan on using a wall paper but because am a broke college student a painted stencil wall is budget friendly. It will be neutral still. The room is a basement bedroom with one little window it lets in a nice amount of light but the drapes are Green I will upload a pic. and a aqua type teal color. The inspiration is a beautiful accent pillow

Yes please upload a photo of drapes & cushion. Just to make sure I'm clear on the color of your headboard (which looks brown in your photo), is it the eggplant color of the attached swatch? I'd love to comment once I see your other photos.

I've got a suggestion as I used this color with my eggplant chaise….BM Palladian Blue.

its a basement bedroom and I need am going to stencil the main wall but my only trouble is the wall that the bed is on has a small window and I don't know how to fit a window treatment in. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Is the headboard brown or eggplant? If so, A light tan or grey color would work nicely with your headboard.

Ralph Lauren offers some great metallic finishes and easy to apply. I think a metallic in the room to reflect light and shimmer would do wonders for a basement bedroom. The first two paint samples I am attaching are neutrals the last two are Ralph Lauren metallics.
