My wife collects different Knowles dishes, and one thing we have learned, is that there is a couple of numbers on the bottom of the plates. These numbers are the month and year of manufacture of the plate. Also you might want to watch the auction sites on the web as Edwin Knowles items are often listed.

I HAVE MY MOTHERS DISHES KNOWLES 52-3 NOT A FULL SET OF DISHES BUT CUPS MILK AND CREAMERS A PLATTER AND BOWLS JUST WONDERING IF THEY ARE WORTH ANYTHING BEFORE I GIVE THEM TO GOOD WILL.

I found some Knowles dishes in my attic. bottom # 50-10. They are beautiful Pattern is a flower (not sure what)and leaf design. 7 sm dessert dishes,5 coffee cups, 6 saucers, 10 dessert plates. Could you please put a value on them before i give them away, or is there someone out there that is interested.
