I absolutely LOVE the artificial tree we have, but my DH thinks we should trash it and get a new one. (The boxes have not made it up into the attic yet, which is what made him bring up getting rid of it.)

The tree we have IS getting pretty worn out, and I did look at trees a little bit during the past Christmas season but I did not see anything I liked.

What recommendations do y'all have in regards to the following:

Where should I look online for a tree?

Where would you shop for a tree in person next fall?

What type of tree looks realistic? (pine, spruce, etc...)

Prelit? (I have great lights, but can use them elsewhere)

Any other thoughts you have before I dump the tree I love (we've had it for 19 years - I'm attached to it!)
