I really NEED these, right?

Here's my Christmas dishes beside Pier One's dishes. So I need to get those bowls, right?? At $1.48 per bowl, isn't pretty much a no-brainer? LOL!

Yes, you DO need those bowls! However, you DO NOT need the plates. Please send them to me so that I can can "dispose" of them for you! :)

    L.O.V.E.S. the plates!

I've seen them at the store and they're very pretty IRL and look perfect for your dishes, too! I say go for it. The prices are amazing there now.

They look terrific with your plates--go for it! At those prices, how could you pass them up? Great buy. Luvs

Why in the world are you wasting time talking to us? Run straight down there NOW and snatch all they have and come back and show them to us and we'll talk then!!!
And, like Kathleen said- get 12. And get them all-cups plates, bowls etc. Then you can mix and match and have lots of company.
    Are you back yet???!!!

Okay, then it's certainly SETTLED! Thanks for the compliments on the existing dishes! I was thinking about the cups, too, and I think you're right!

Definitely, you need them. I had to buy bowls for my Christmas dishes, because that's the time of year for soup and chili, gotta have bowls. - Gail

Yup a definite no brainer. Take those puppies home with ya! Love the set you have.

    So, did you get them?

I'm wanting to hear also. I sure love this set of dishes, they are really pretty, I just love the scroll design around the edges. Sure hope you were able to get the bowls. Luvs

Aren't you back YET with those dishes to show us? What else did you buy while there this time? LOL

    hugs, Karen

Well, it's about 2:45, I just finished putting away the last of the Christmas stuff (with NO help!) and I'm about to make the trip! I am having to use psychology on myself and say if I don't get them at least I'll still have the money in my pocket! LOL! I'll let you know.

Well, I got them but ... they are little different from the way they look in the picture. I couldn't tell in the store because of the lighting. They are more of an off-white, whereas my dishes ae white. I don't like them so much WITH my dishes, but the good thing is they are so deep that I think I could use them for serving dishes as well, or for ice cream or soup. They were actually $1.25 each so I'm still happy!

I would post pictures but I'm too sleepy!

I think you made a wise purchase. If you decide next year that you don't like them, you can send them to me and I will be happy to give them a loving home (biggest smile I can muster up).

    LOL, Catiecupcake! (love that name!)

Don't feel bad, I'm finding that about the backgrounds on dishes too--lots of different shades of white. I was really hoping to do some mixing and matching but am finding it difficult too. Probably no one else will even notice the difference when you use them. Still got them at a great price. Luvs

Thanks Luvs, and I REALLy don't feel bad. They actually will be great serving bowls or ice cream/soup bowls, or just cheerful Christmas-time cereal bowls.

I'm beginning to think if you are shopping for white dishes to match something you have, you better take a saucer with you. LOL. Or a plate if you have a big tote bag.
Who'd have thought matching whites could be so challenging!
