Kathleen_li, I'm thinking failte is Gaelic for welcome? Can you tell us how to pronounce it phonetically? I wish I knew more Gaelic.

Yes, Welcome to all the newbies, lurkers, and just anyone dropping in.
Judith (the afflicted) LOL

Judithva, If being afflicted means having all of the dishes and accessories you have, I WANT TO BE AFFLICTED!!!

We all want to be afflicted!!! That's why we hang out here!!
I meant it in a good way, you knew that right???

sandi,
ah, but there is a price to be paid. When I am dead and gone, I am sure my DD will have a very strange obituary for me, instead of the weirdo woman with 200 cats; I'll be the possessed and afflicted woman with the "dish house".

Nothing like spending your child's inheritance in "dishes".LOL

Thanks for the welcome Kathleen_li and Judith. Kathleen, I like Sandi's idea to tell us how to pronounce Failte properly!

Judith, you said: Nothing like spending your child's inheritance in "dishes".LOL Ah, but I think it's better than said kid spending it on their "dish-equivalent". lol

hi2all, so true...her equivalent "weakness" at her age is shoes, and clothes (and we won't even talk about the Bath and Body Works store, she could open her own).

hi2all, HI to you too!! And a BIG welcome.

I'm sure you'll be finding new ways to spend your money after being here a few times. LOL ;o)
