I would really appreciate help with this problem. I had a tile scene installed as a backsplash in my newly remodeled kitchen and love it but....I ordered a rope like trim in a forest green with a "wiped down" or muted look but I got a highly glazed finish which is not what I wanted. This was the 2nd order (sent the first one back - wayyy to dark) So now the color is right but it is too bright and shiny and just not what I wanted. I went ahead and had it installed but would love to do something. Can I tone it down somehow? I wanted a sort of washed out, I guess dull finish. Thanks so much.
