I am just seeing your post , havenÂt been on here in a while. I have the scunci and love mine.
There are so many uses.. almost anything that you normally clean, can be clean with steam. I do windows and mirrors (with a micro fiber cloth) I clean the bathrooms, counter tops, all my stainless steal appliances (w/ micro fiber cloth) I also clean the inside of the fridge & microwave Âall the nook and crannies that are hard to get to like microwave vents, the crease around your stove, etc. When I first got mine years ago.. I just tried it on everything. I never used the attachments that came with it.. I just steam, and wipe with micro fiber cloths or paper towels ( the bathrooms I use paper towels) I also use mine to clean my chandeliers , one of mine have Âleaves itÂs normally very hard to get it clean where it reaches the "stemÂ, now I can just steam it.. I also use it on my crystals that hang off it as well the more you use it, the more things will come to you.. I hope you enjoy it! Once you get started using one, your hooked .

Hi Ree, I'm so glad to see you. I've been looking for you because it was your raving about the scunci that I got one. I tried it out Sat. and I guess I didn't let it heat up enough at first because with the steam out came a lot of water, wetting everything. I know I will get better with that in time. I tried it on the inside glass of my oven door, some grout on the floor, baseboard in the kitchen and a few other places. I have a bad back so the bending to clean up with a cloth was not to easy for me.

I have a husband sick with cancer who takes up a lot of time so my cleaning time is limited.

When I emptied it after using it I noticed the water in it was sort of milky looking. I didn't add anything to it so I just rinsed it out according to the directions.

I will let you know how I do my next time around. I have to get me some of those micro fiber cloths also.

First, I am so sorry to hear about your husband. I feel for both of you and are in my thoughts.

I don't know why milky looking water came out..that is very odd. Maybe it needed a rinse before first use? I do know if you over fill it, the first few blasts are boiling water until it gets down to the right water level.

You will enjoy using it.. I love it for the bathroom, it is so much easier to steam blast and wipe. .long ago, I scrubbed with soft scrub, then it took for ever to get it all off. .it took longer than the actual scrubbing .
I also use natural cleaners, at times when I do not feel like steaming, I use that instead and itÂs just as easyÂ. spray and wipe.. No residues left behind, so itÂs also and effective and easy way to clean.

Take it easy, be careful with your backÂ.your husband is in my prayers.

For my back I use as many things to make things easier for me. Today I ran the Roomba and then used the Shark so the floors are done. I'm no spring chicken either, I'm 77 years old and my husband is 83. But I guess old age beats the alternative.

I will tackle the bathroom next with the Scunci. I will keep you posted and thanks again.

awh..God bless you both, how wonderful! You have a young spirit, and I do not think 77 as old at all! You have a lot of spunk... way to go!
