tiling bathroom floor

Anyone taken a bathroom from linoleum floors to tile floors without it looking like it was done "after the fact"? Is it a huge expense?

We built our house 10 yrs ago and inexplicitly didn't tile the bathrooms. The tile we choose for the kitchen and hall was a discontinued item, and we only had enough to do the main areas. Why I didn't choose another tile for the baths is beyond me (building choice overload?), but I obviously didn't have an eye towards re-sale at the time.

Okay, fast forward to today: hubby is being relocated, and I think that a house in our price range ($300+ in the midwest) should have tiled baths. Hubby says just sell it "as is" (we have the wonderful benefit of a company relo buyout available, but it's never as good as selling it yourself). Should we wait and see what a realtor says?

Thanks!
