Shredded colored newprint for Easter grass

Yesterday a friend & I got to be tog for the day...we shopped & looked alot...one thing she saw was a small bag of shredded newsprint comics to use for Easter grass. Thought it may be a handy idea for some you starting your Easter baskets! Lots of households have "shredders" for junk mail these days!

And, just a note, I did use my wire cloche & on hen & cks on buffet & added a few more pics on that post "Brown bunnies & such." What a beautiful time of the year! So refreshing! Jeanne S.

You are so smart Jeanne and thanks for the great idea. I will have to remember this when I'm needing alot of filler. Shredded paper goes along way.

Oh, so happy you got to spend the day with a friend.
