I took a break from looking for dinner plates that would work well with my these Chikaramachi salads (from Japan).

And then today, I ran across these dinner plates on the Goodwill Auction site. They're from Adams, from their Calyx Ware in the Ming Toi Blue pattern.

I think they might work well. BUT . . . they're saying the five plates will be sent at an 8 pound weight, which is $19.06 just for the S&H to New Mexico! That's if (and it's a big "if") I no one bids against me. At the moment, there are two bids at they're at $5.14. I don't know, I'm cheap . . . .

And then, snooping around Repalcements to see what they were charging for the Ming Toi, I found these plates, also from Adams. This is their Brentwood pattern. I haven't located any dinner plates, yet, but I may do a search. I do think, if the background whites were the same, this would be the best match, but . . . what do you think?????
