I am updating my windowless 1982 guest bath that is about 5 feet wide and 7 ft long from door to tub at the far end. I plan to use Daltile Castle de Verre in turrett beige (http://daltileproducts.com/documents/salessheets/DT_Castle_de_Verre_SS.pdf) 13' floor tiles. A straight grid pattern will require the fewest cuts, but I wondered if a diamond pattern would be more attractive? I plan to use a grid of the matching 6.5" tiles with decorative trim on the tub surround. The 30" vanity and toilet will be on the left as guests enter from the door, with the tub straight ahead.
