I have a GE Profile Easy Touch electric dryer model DPSB620EC4WW with a stainless steel drum. It is about 3 / 4 years old. The first two years it was a dream but over the past year its has not been drying loads completely. I do and have always cleared the lint trap after every load. We have also checked and cleaned the vent and as far as we can see it is clear. It does not matter if I have a full load of towels or a small load of cotton t-shirts if I use any setting other than the antibacterial there is always something damp left in the load. My first thought was the moisture sensor is faulty but when asking around I was told that is rare. My second thought is there is some lint build up that I can't see or get to. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I should look for before I actually pay for someone to come and look at it. We are just about to purchase a new FL washer and there is a small part of me that just wants to sell it and get a new dryer to match our new washer but that also drives me nuts as I know it is only a few years old and should be working much better than this.
