Easter Table for Two

Here is my Easter table effort, and I mean effort, I tweaked and tweaked and still not completely happy with it. There will be only the two of us, so I just moved the centerpiece to the end and started from there. I do however like the color scheme.

Beautiful! Such of soft look. You inspired me to throw one together for tonight. Yours is elegant, mine is VERY casual.

Boy, that three tiered thingie you have is certainly unique. It's such a great piece - can be used to serve food or to display items for a centerpiece or vignette. Love the pink egg cups.

Gosh. I meant to comment on the crocheted doily. It's really beautiful. Is it one of your creations?

    Beautiful!!
I'm loving seeing all the uses you find for the tiered stands you recently acquired. The bunnies look right at home cozied in there.
LOOOVE! the plates and everything ties together so well with the tablecloth.

Very pretty! All the items look so nice together, and I just love the shape of your salt/pepper set and the egg cups too. That three tiered stand of your's is wonderful. Did you ever tell us the story behind it? I think you had mentioned it was a YS find in another of your posts. Tell me more, please?

PURE PINK ELEGANCE! Beautiful, Frou. I love the rich coloring of that big floral plate. And your rabbit tier is absolutely gorgeous!

    Lovely, Lovely table.
Such pretty soft colors. I love how you layered your tablecloth, placemats and your dishes. It just flows beautifully. Are those vintage placemats and napkins?
They remind me of ones my DM had.. I also'love your pitchmr and S&Ps.. !0D

frou...I'm finding this "tweaking" business can go on forever! LOL! I think your t'scape is very feminine ...love the dishes especially & the colors cry out that it's your table! Those placemats with the slot for the beautiful napkins are unique! And I like your pink glassware. Enjoy! TFS! Jeanne S.

Syble, your table looks so pretty. I love pink and all the colors on your table match so well with your kitchen colors. There are so many pretties to look at and I love the addition of the doiles to your table.

My kind of table for sure.

OA, no I didn't crochet the doily, that's something I never mastered, my DM crocheted everything. I find doilies cheap at TS's and pick them up all the time. The egg cups were a gift from a friend of DS, people are always sending me pink things. Luvs, the stand was a $5.00 TS find, I added the plates, which I already had. Karen, I have 10 of those plates with 4 different magnolia patterns. Jane, the placemats only look vintage, they were a gift several years ago from my favorite cousins. Jeanne, the pink stemware is a Fostoria pattern and was my DM. Thanks for all the sweet comments guys.

That is just beautiful! I love the plaid cloth and then the beautiful mats.
    It looks perfectly Easter!

Very, very pretty! Love the color scheme - everything goes together so well. Neat how your placemats have that little rose pocket for the napkin. I have a couple of doilies with that frilly part also altho mine are smaller. You've inspired me to try to use them in a TS.

IKWYM about tweaking. I may eventually post my Easter setting next week!!! I did a trial one but it's not done and we'll probably eat in the great room anyhow. I just wanted to practice on the other table as it's closer to all my stuff.

Syble, your table is so lovely! The colours are so well coordinated and are perfect for Easter. I really like the tablecloth and all your dishes. The "centerpiece" on the side is a great idea on a table for two. Your table looks to be in a beautiful spot with a nice view into your yard. I'm going back to look at your pics again! Happy Easter!
