Having a difficult time understanding which direction to go. We have a set of preliminary plans for a daylight rambler to be built on our lot. I don't know if we should continue to meet with the designer to work out the details then submit to builders for bids, or if we should make contact with several builders first to get a feel for who we like and to see their collection of plans that they have built before. The home would be custom, in other words, the property is not part of a plat that is being developed by one builder or several builders. Thoughts?
