Spring table and ...

This is the table I did for Tablescape Thursday last week..

Polka dot plates from CTS, pink Lenox glass, aqua stem glass..yellow napkin with white dots were mom's, rabbit salt and peppers

Little egg plates from CTS 1.00

Little polka dot ramekins 1.29

White porcelain fan shaped salad plates..2.00 HG clearance..

The little end looks like a tassel like the red check plate has..

And if you need some bunny to love..he was so cute at CTS..I didn't take him..

    Kathleen,
I love all the combined pastels and polka dots, and I really like the baskets with the napkins--it's like putting a big flower on each plate. Bravo! You've done it again!

Beautiful Kathleen.....just keep waving those red and white dishes around....I'll make a grab for them :^)
I love the yellow dish with the polka dots too, and I'm sure I can't find any this far south!!!
Your table is dream worthy...keep it up!

BEAUTIFUL! Everything looks so pretty and Easter/springish. I feel like I must live in a far outpost of civilization. I think I'm a thousand miles from a CTS and I'm not even sure what an HG is, but I know we don't have them here. I did see a similar bunny in a cage at either TJ MAX or Ross. I love all the bunnies on your table. TFS and inspiring. - Gail

Lovely Spring table! All those pretty pastels--love them! Very clever of you to use two different colored placemats. I'm going to see if any of mine will work together that way! And the polka dot dishes--I love all three patterns. Luvs

    Thanks, Ladies!
Luvs, I found the cheaper mats are just a little smaller so you can layer them. The yellow were from Kohls and a lot more than the dollar at CTS..and made of the same material too!

Just got a few minutes to pop in here. Kathleen, you always amaze me with your tables & you didn't disappoint with this one.

Really love the use of so many pastels & the clever baskets for napkin holders!!

I really am attracted to yellows & lavender this spring, but that would mean buying even MORE Easter things & I have no room for anymore!!!

I just love the things you find at CTS, but we don't have one anywhere near Illinois!!!

We've all been sick here, that thing that lasts for up to 3 weeks, grandson in Jr. High play, but the play is this weekend, so that will ease up some of the running for me!

Also, had our litter of puppies just before I got sick, 3 males & one female. We lost one little girl, stillborn & I was very upset!!! The 4 are 12 days old & look like little piggies, they are getting plenty to eat due to such a small litter this time.

Started spring cleaning & it all got put on hold when I got sick. Whatever it is, is like a combo of strep throat & the worst flu ever and I've been on anti-b's for 7 days now & have 3 more to go.

I have NO voice at all & my ears are still totally plugged, but overall, I feel better.

Hope you are all well, I miss coming here & wish I had more time for it & also time to do a table, but just can't seem to find any spare time right now.

I am almost dreading Easter, as it seems to be coming up so fast & I'm not anywhere ready for it!

We had snow last weekend & it's predicted again next Monday. Our temps go from 50's or 60's and then drop suddenly to the 30's and I'm convinced that is why we're all getting sick so much.

Hi Yachter, good to hear from you. Glad you popped in to give us an update. So sorry you have all been sick. That sounds like a nasty one. Would love to be able to cuddle those sweet little puppies. Glad all but the one made it okay and are thriving.

Our Kathleen really comes up with some darling dishes and at fantastic prices! I've looked several places out here and just not finding cute things like we found a few years ago. Prices all seem to be higher too. I'm going to try the same stores in other areas when I can to see if they are carrying the same or hopefully different items.

Know you will enjoy your GS' play. These times will be special memories for him.

    Hope you feel better soon.

I thought I had posted here earlier, but must have dreamed it! Head full of this wonderful springtime sinus, allergy stuff. Can't think straight!
Anyhoo, I definately feel spring in the air when I see this tablescape, Kathleen. All of those lovely spring colors just lighten my mood. Don't you just love spring?
Your big bunny is so pretty. What did he serve up? I love the way his ears are going back like he is getting ready to take off running!
You have a way of adding all of the little touches that always make every tablescape so polished.
Have you ever considered doing a book? You should share all of these beautiful pictures with the world. We shouldn't be the only ones who drool! You would have to include those beautiful Christmas pictures of your home decorations. I loved that pic of your tree in the urn. I think you had it in your bedroom.
    Seriously, you should do it.
OK, Back to spring. I just noticed your little bunny popping up out of your centerpiece! How cute he is! I love how you pulled all of the colors out of your plate and used them on the table. And I never would have thought to use a little basket for an napkin holder.
How wonderful that you have tablescape items that belonged to your Mother. I remember you saying that your Mom loved to set a nice table. Did she have the DP at her house too? LOL!
So, what was on the menu this time?
BTW, you should have opened the door to that cage so the poor bunny could have escaped!

    Kathleen,
Your spring table is so sweet! I really really need those pastel polka dot plates. I have a bowl set in pastels but I cannot get dishes to go with it. And I love how you layered the two placemats - very nice.

And the white fan plates are gorgeous and go with your plates so well.

Yatcher - hope you get better soon!! You have to show us pics of your new puppies sometime.

Such a nice Easter-y/spring table Kathleen! Those egg shaped dishes are so unique. I like how you layered the pink and yellow placemats too. That centerpiece with the eggs sticking up is perfect for the season. Great job as usual!
