Yup, same here - we had a beautiful two weeks in the 70's and even the 80's and now it's back to cold and dreary with rain, rain, rain. Supposed to get some sun tomorrow but not the nice temps. Oh well, look on the bright side Juicyfruitkid, in a little less than two days, it's your birthday - have a great Happy Birthday!

Just heard today that northern Maine is flooding and people are having to leave the area.

Sorry the two of you are still having unusual weather. Don't you think it was because winter came later this past year?

Even here in So. Calif. the weather is strange. We were in the upper 90's on Monday and down to the low 70's today.

Just pull out some pastel dishes and buy some pretty spring flowers to set on your table and it will cheer you up. ;o)

Spring is springing here. It's not warm, but not too cold. I'll post the link to some spring flowers photos of stuff that's blooming in my yard (and in the cracks of my driveway) lately. It's cheered things immensely!

Here's wishing you warmer weather soon!

Jenn, I love the flower pictures! My bleeding heart is coming up nicely, but no where near ready to bloom. Everything in the flower beds seems to be coming up despite snow at least once a week. We may have more snow mixed with rain tommorrow. Even here snow in May is late.I guess April&May snow brings June flowers!Ha!Ha!

JuicyFruitKid, I know folks were hit pretty badly with snow in the mid-west this year...

Here's hoping when everything is in bloom it's all the more rewarding. It's been a very flukey year, weatherwise!

We had a cloudy day yesterday, but it made it to 90 degrees! My johnny-jump-ups and pansies have about had it:^( If I get time over the weekend they will be history and I will plant a couple of flats of moss rose, a few begonias, a couple of impatiens and give my overwintered Boston ferns a haircut and a new pot! The horse trough will get some new dirt/compost and a few packages of morning glory and moonflower seeds. (Can you believe the FEW seeds that now come in a $1.69 package...thieves!!)
