OT:WooHoo!

A spot had shown up on my annual mammogram, so after an additional mammogram, and an ultrasound, it was decided that I should have a biopsy. Went to have the biopsy this morning, and the spot they were concerned about has disappeared! Prayer really does work--my thanks to those of you who knew and included me in your prayers. Woohoo! Thanks for all your sweet comments. It was a relief, no matter how much you try to "not worry", you still do a bit. I was just so thrilled that it had disappeared and they didn't even have to do the procedure! Sure felt like a "miracle" to me! ;o)

Now back to all the pretty dishes and some fun!

That is wonderful news, Luvs...and I would consider it a miracle too. And prayers of thanksgiving in order!

I am so happy to hear it has disappeared Luvs. Maybe it was just a cyst as those can come and go.

Wonderful news, Luvs! Thank God! I am so happy for you. A few years ago one of mine showed a very noticiable spot. DH happened to be with me and we both were concerned. The people who did it, did another one and said that it was just a milk duct or just tissue, but we insisted on a second opinion from a specialist. Thank God, the second opinion agreed that it was just tissue and showed that it had disappeared when they had used more pressure on the second test. But, those few days were scary. I can relate.

Thanks ladies. I am very relieved, and was thrilled that they didn't even need to do the biopsy after all. I did celebrate with a little shopping (sorry, no dishes) and even painted on a couple of crafty projects. Shouldn't have bothered you all with it, but just felt so relieved that I wanted to tell all my friends. ;o) Luvs

I am so glad to learn that this thing has gone, and so happy for you!

And thanks to you - and your post - I'll finally have the courage to go for my first mammogram.

Luvs, it's not a bother, particularly when it's something that's frightening. It's better to share it than keep it inside. Plus, we get to share in the GOOD news, too! :)

(No dishes... fer shame... :) )

Sorry for not responding earlier - I was too worried about saying the wrong thing, being a male or coming off as creepy or...You get my drift!

LOL, you are all just the greatest!

Jenn, I'll have to try to do something about the no dishes won't I? Maybe I can head of to Ross and Home Goods today! ;o)

Jaybird, I love that little saying and am writing it down so I can remember it.

And Jim, thanks for the good wishes too. Your posting would never be a problem, we are all friends here, and I know your intentions are always of a helpful nature. ;o)
