Hello everyone. Hoping I can save myself another day of aggro. This is a great resource and I'm glad I came across it. There are too many forums with ulterior motives or misinformation.

I've hunting through the forums for opinions and feedback. I'm trying to finalize one last piece of the kitchen renovation puzzle: the hood.

Currently, I've decided on an all-gas Wolf 30". From what I understand something with a CFL of up to 600-700 is enough. 36" wide, 24" deep? It will be vented to the outside and mounted to the wall.

So from a cost-to-effectiveness/durability standpoint, it sounds like the options are Vent-a-Hood and maybe Kobe? The price I would pay has to reflect reason given the cost of the stove...

The other stuff we're purchasing are a Bosch dishwasher and a Samsung counter-depth frige. If anyone has any strong opinion against either of these two (or any tips on choice), it would be great if you could holler.
