Springtime table

Hope everyone has recovered from the full tummies of Easter dinner. :)

I'm still around but doing more lurking than anything since spending so much time playing in the dirt. :)

However I did make the time to haul all the easter stuff into storage and drag out a spring-y setting.

The sidecabinet...

The sidecabinet centerpiece...

The table...

Plates upclose...

The table centerpiece...

It was by pure accident that the ducks feet/bill matched exactly to the color of the birds chest but it made me laugh.

Apparently it's the little things sometimes.. LOL

Yep, MM, those little things are Life's delights. And those little bluebirds are real cuties. Your table setting is very pretty. Sage and soft greens are a very favorite color of mine. Your side cabinet is just lovely and really says Welcome Spring.

I'm going to be the last one to get Easter packed it looks like. My body has objected to me doing much, and I'm having to make 'choices' as to what's the most important to do each day. LOL. UN-decorating doesn't seem to be a high priority for some reason. And maybe its a good thing I didn't get it packed up yesterday! My dad asked me to run an errand for him and it was a store right next to Michaels! So that gift card is history. LOL. All the Easter stuff was clearance of course, so I had to go buy some MORE to pack. And I also bought some ceramic birds there, I have trouble resisting birds. (along with everything else it seems!) At the moment, the bags are sitting in the garage and I can't walk another step, but I'm a happy camper anyway. Or rather happy Shopper!
So MM, since your Easter is packed, and your Spring decorating is done, why don't you come on over and do mine.

Good for you getting the Easter things put away. Mine have gone as far as my craft room since I'm reorganizing things and not sure where their 'real' home will be!

I am sooo impressed with those large eggs on your sideboard! Are they real eggs, handpainted, or what? Very, very pretty whatever they are. I'm also curious about the green bottles beside the eggs. I sure hope you are not going to tell me they are valuable vintage ones as I used a similar one in a totem. Nice shape which is why I used it but I've done that before and it makes an expensive totem.

I really like how you use the black accents - adds a lot to a tablescape and goes well with the sage plates. I think those clear apple plates are the same as some I saw at the thrift store and didn't buy. Wish now I had and I'll get them next time as they make great salad or appetizer plates. Your little bluebird S&P's are adorable. I need to find cute things like that for my TS's. TFS

That's what I did today..get all the Easter things away.
Now I see all your lovely spring accents and I'm having 'Spring Envy'!
You did such a lovely job on everything.
I always enjoy seeing your sideboard for each season/holiday. You make it look so different and pretty for all ocassions! I like your tablesetting with the green, black and white accents- and your beautiful Yellow and White flowers makes it all Pop!
After looking at all you did, you've definitely inspired me to get going to do Something here for Spring...TFS

MM...this is certainly Spring-y...your centerpcs look so pretty! And, like LG, those painted eggs (?) look intriguing! The apple luncheon plates are very cute, too! TFS! Jeanne S.

Karen : If it wasn't so far , I'd be right over. :) Get the rest you need and have no worries of getting all the Easter packed away. I'm sure the bunnies don't mind staying out (and seemingly continuing to multiply whilst they are at it. lol ) Small steps at a time are the best way.

Lucky : The big eggs are a heavy ceramic mold in crackle finish with an airbrush style painted print on them. They were a TS "steal" at 5.00 I think.
The bottles are vintage Avon Emerald Bud Bottles. They aren't any priceless treasure , no. I think I paid 3.00 a piece or so for them at a TS.

Thank you for your lovely comments. :)

Wow, another beautiful table and sideboard to share with us. Wish I had more time to go into detail but know I enjoyed all of your efforts.

Very pretty, MM, such a happy cheerful decor. I thought the green plates had a raised design at first! Those clear plates are perfect for a salad plate. I donated some clear sunflower plates. I really liked them but they never seemed to show up well on anything--decided not to have them take up space if I wasn't using them! You seem to have lots of pretty flowers on hand for nice arrangements--they make the tables look festive.

Congrats on getting Easter put away, I'm working on it. Those giant eggs are lovely. I like the way the green plates show under the salad plates, I have some strawberry bowls somewhere that I need to drag out. And I love, love, love the little bluebirds.

    What pretty plates, MM!

And I just noticed those cute little "ducky" napkin rings! Perfect! Jeanne S.

    Milosmom,
Love the duck napkin rings. And your apple plates too! I was meaning to ask you - did your DH get back from his trip? I might have missed your post on it.

I am with you, Karen. The little bit of easter decor I set out is going to stay there for atleast a couple of more weeks. I only got them out the day before easter so I am not tired of them yet.

    Mo :
Yes, thankfully DH made it back where he belongs in one safe piece.
After almost 9 years, I didn't think I could miss him that much. LOL

Oh those ducky napkin rings are so cute! I could see a whole table done around that theme!!
