New Spring Table

I decided to use my plates with my new placemats DD had given me last winter before I removed my green table cloth. Not sure the green was the right thing with the purple but I know it's the most wrinkle free one I have at the present.LOL

Hope you are ready for another spring table.

I think the green tablecloth is perfect for your tablescape!!
The placemats, plates, and all of your decorations look fabulous together.
A beautiful table that is very well thought out and executed.
    Cheers,

Yes, ditto to what Oreos said, first thing that drew my eyes was that vase ...and I thought "Calla Lily!" That is awesome...I am not good at growing the live ones...so I love this vase!

Color combo is great...I still LOVE those dishes & the colors blend well with your linens...DD's gift of placemats are beautiful! So pretty, the whole t'scape, TFS, punk! Jeanne S.

    What a lovely table Punk.
Your DD sure spoils you with pretty things.
I agree with everyone that Calla Lily vase is very special looking and goes beautifully with your placemats and
dishes. Another very nice Spring table.

Candy, your so funny. Well thought out tables with my life is questionable but thanks so much for the sweet comments. Thanks also for letting me know you like the green tablecloth with this setting. The flowered placemats have more green that match than what my pictures show.

Susan, thanks and glad you like the vase. I should of put the flowers in it but couldn't get it to look right. Guess I didn't have the right ones. If I would of thought about it while shopping today, I should of bought some of the white Calla Lillies to put in it.

Jeanne, I'll be sure and tell DD that you like the placemats. Thanks for letting me know you like the color combo. I still struggle with that at times.

Jane, you are so right with DD spoiling me. She bought me some Easter butter bowls with chicks on the knives and bunnies that are pretty cute for my Easter table next year. The little bowls were at Shopko and were $24.99 ea. She picked them up at 90% off. She's the best little shopper around.LOL

Your DD is a GREAT shopper, and even better "Spoil-er".
Do you loan her out by chance? LOL.

I think the green goes wonderfully. Of course it and purple are two of my favorite colors. Its looks the same shade as the little leaves on your plates! And the placemats couldn't be more perfect to tie everything together. I also REALLY like the tall candleholder!

Love your purple and green! Such a pretty combination just right for Spring. The little flowers on the dishes look like violets, so tiny and delicate. Your tall candleholder is really nice, and the cala lilly vase is lovely. How fun that your DD is totally encouraging you to do your tablescapes!

Jeanne, this house came with two or three patches of cala lillies. Love them as they come up every year and even the leaves are so pretty. I have a few in a pitcher on the kitchen counter now. Mine are just the white ones.

Went to the Pasadena Showcase House Today. It's one of those charity events where they select a giant old house (in this case it was a mansion) and various home decorators and landscape architects decorate the grounds and each room to the hilt. Purple is this season's Accent Color of the Year. It was everywhere. There were even deep, deep purple irises in the yard. You're spot-on with those plates.

Eeep... One of my favorite color combos.
I looove your plates and the centerpiece too.
I MUST put the calla lily vase on my to-find list. It's a great piece all by itself and I think if you tried to put flowers in it , it would lose the "look".
The green cloth goes just right to , esp with the base of the vase.
    Job very well done. :)

Karen, Yes, some days I would loan her!!! She's a keeper but has attitude at times, I must warn you.LOL She would think you were crazier than I am with all your beautiful things you collect. So, I'll send her over.LOL I love her and she is sooo giving, I've always felt blessed to have her.

These are your plates, so to speak, so I'm not surprised you liked this. DD gave me the purple candle in the tall holder you like. It's a battery one.

Luvs, I bet you do enjoy your calla lillies. I've been going to paint some and never have. Glad you liked this table too.

Thanks Kathleen for the comment on the two colors together too. You have so many neat dishes so thanks for the comment.

OA, thanks and I bet that was something to see. I would love to go to places like that.

MM, thanks for the comment on the vase. I gave it a shot with flowers and flunked. After hearing your comment with the way you arrange flowers maybe I made the right choice.

Thanks so much for all your nice comments. Now I do need to go finish that last load of laundry and hit the hay.

Girl, that is so stunning, love the colors. I know what you mean about the wrinkle free tablecloth, who has time to iron. The grapes are a nice touch and they even go with your wall decor. Wonderful job, thanks for sharing.

Jay, I hope your on your way to my house as I sit here. I'm sure the choc. will look better on you than me.

Thanks for the sweet comments on the colors, you know I'm still kinda new at this.
