flatwear display

The gal who has the fantastic transferware I've shown before, posted her flatware display idea on her blog. I thought it was neat and wanted to share with you.

hugs, Karen

Her displays are just beautiful! Makes me drool every time I see her site. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, PM...I'm loving the English transferware pitchers that she displays in! And such elegant flatware! (or silverware or whatever the correct description entails)

    Beautiful! I feel I've just toured a queen's castle! TFS! Jeanne S.

She really has some gorgeous flatware to display--and they look great in her pitchers on that cupboard. She really has a great collection of transferware--I love looking at her displays too. Luvs

Thanks for showing us that, Karen. Not only is it a great idea for displaying your flatware, but her things are so pretty!

That girl has got it going on, I swear. I can only dream of such perfect displays and pictures. I'm doing good to display the glassware, for now the flatware is hiding in various drawers. You find the most interesting stuff on the net. A while back my aunt had a book store and I loved it because she always had books picked out for me, knowing the things I liked. Now you find all the good stuff for us on the net, for those of us who don't have time to surf the web. Thanks.

I second Frou comment. I love opening up the Holiday Forum and finding a link you've discovered for us. I really never thought about displaying flatware before. I think I might try that myself. I don't have type of collection that woman has, but I think I'll be able to use the basic idea.
    Thanks, Karen

Karen, I really appreciate that you posted this - I love her blog but my laptop recently went "bye-bye" so I didn't have the addy. When we decide what to replace it with the tech will be able to recover the info as the HD is OK. In the meantime I'm missing a lot of fav bookmarks on this computer as I seldom used it online before.

I've done something similar with some of my bits and pieces of old silver (copied from another blog) but Nancy's looks soooo much better as her flatware and dishes are so exceptional. I love looking at her etsy site as well, especially when I see some of the plates I have. Most of mine were less than $1 each at YS!

Karen, I have some things for you from sales, one is in a big box, but have to find a bigger plain box to mail it in so know you will have some things coming soon!!!

Yacht, sounds like I'm having Christmas in May! Wooo Hooo. But don't you go spending big bucks on shipping!

I'm so glad you gals enjoyed seeing Nancy's flatware. I figured you would. So often when I'm browsing stuff in the wee hours, it seems y'all are with me at times. Or I'm like a kid who can't wait to show you something. LOL.

OMGosh, I was checking Nancy's blog just now and her post today is definitely Transferware display OVERLOAD. WOW.
She has an incredible collection and I love all her ways of showing it off. The little kitchen wall area with the colorful Spode plates is possibly my favorite, but there's just so much else to see with her beautiful pieces!
    Enjoy!
    hugs, Karen
