Prayers for Prosperity

I am very sorry to hear, Dominique, you are having neck problems and may need surgery next week. I was worried as you've been "missing" a lot lately, and been missed for that matter! I hope you are back soon, but meanwhile know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

love, Karen

Oh gosh- I just had a client at work have to go in for neck surgery for pain-- he'd pinched a nerve. But here's hoping that the surgery you have works as well for you as it did for him. He's doing really well now-- much better. So fingers crossed you'll be yourself soon, as well.

Thank you so much for your kind words and thank you so much Karen for your beautiful flowers. How did you know that I LOVE white flowers?

thrift_shop_romantic, that is what I have... pinched nerve!
It began six years ago with a pinched nerve in my lower back, but the doctor did not speak about surgery: just physiotherapy. But that cured nothing because now I have several nerves stuck.

But I have not been to the doctor yet as for a few days, my neck wasn't as much painful any more, so I thought it was cured with the medicine I took - relaxing muscle medicine.

However, since Thursday, the pain is back to 300% so I'll have to see the doctor. I'm very afraid of hospitals ... therefore, I delay the moment to go. Now it is no longer an issue.

In fact, I spend my days from 6 AM till 3 PM turing around in my house: from the office where I open the computer but can't stay more than fifteen minutes; to the garden where I can't do anything because of the pain; into the kitchen where I can't stay a lot, then into the living room where I can't sit in the sofa for a long time and then it's time to go to work where I become crazy because I HAVE TO SIT OR WALK with the kids.

I will keep you update on what I become... if I have to go for a surgery, well, it's fine. Everything would be better than having such a pain.

    Have a nice day, girls.

I'm so glad you checked in with us, Dominique. But am very sorry for all the pain and just hope your doctor will get it taken care of for you. I truly understand about not being able to sit for long, or do anything cause of severe pain. Wish they could fix this Fibromyalgia I have but its incurable. I'm sure, like me, you are in pain all the time right now and I am praying yours will end soon.

    hugs, Karen

Karen, a 30 years old friend of mine has fibromyalgia and I know how painful it can be... my prayers are with you on this!

Don't know how it is for you, but she "feels" when the crisis will start and when it happens, she opens everything: doors, bottles, cans, etc. because for some days she is unable to do anything. She even is unable to take care of her three kids, drive her car...

Here, fibromyalgia is called "orphan disease" as they aren't too many people who have this disease... well, I personally think that since there's at least one person, the disease isn't orphan any more. And that is the reason why they don't invest in the research!!!!! At least, they should look for a way to make the disease less painful, that would be a good start...

Well, if I have to undergo for a sugery, that will be in July as I can't take a single day off even for health reasons - school finishes on June 30th and then I'll have two months to focus on my health problems. And I'm lucky: it's curable.

Ok, so, now I have to go for a driving test before the definitive driving license exam... (another Belgian joke). I'll take some "painkillers" to turn my head in the car, lol.

    Take care, friends :)
