I've never tasted a mint julep, always wondered how they tasted since you hear about them so much.

I love to see the beautiful horses, but not one for watching the races. If I'm going to watch, I'd rather be at the track and see it all in person.

Anyone collect horse figurines? Even a horshoe shaped floral arrangement would make a good centerpiece. Oh well, maybe next year.

I WATCHED THE Race and admired the Queen's hat. They showed several others too. I loved it when they all sang "My Old Kentucky Home"

I watched too, Minnie. I admire the stamina (and other things) of Queen Elizabeth. I got tired just reading about all the places she went to yesterday.

That's because she is planning on getting them all back! LOL

Kathleen, You are just too, too funny! I think it's a little late for the Queen to do any getting back here! LOL

I didn't watch the race, but I do love to watch the celebrity shows to see what everyone wore.

Luvs, the race only takes a couple of minutes, you should try to work it in! LOL
And Sandi, don't be too sure about the Queen taking things back. They had to give Hong Kong back, she might want to replace it with some of our prime real estate!!!
