This weeks table and wedding chatter

Things have been crazy here with pulling the wedding together, people coming and going, working on memorial flower arrangements for the family plots, arrangements for and attendance of 2 funerals this week , and the arrival of our newest baby neice this morning.

With the few spare moments I've had I stopped in and checked out the BEAUTIFUL! settings that have been for Mothers Day and this evening managed to set the table and get pics of the centerpieces for the reception.

As of now, my dress has arrived - the suits are here- the rings/tiara/my jewelry have all been ordered - my sisters dress chosen and ordered - the food list & guest list are done. Still have several things left but we're far enough ahead of schedule, I'm not worried (yet.. lol).

and the centerpieces.. I still need the rest of the candles but they are done otherwise. Still need to make the big matching arrangements in the gold urns but that's next on the list. They will be sitting on chocolate colored tablecloths.

Don't be so busy you can't enjoy the guests and that new baby! Thanks for taking the time to post your pretties.

Whew, you've got me exhausted. LOL. I'm glad you could drop in here and show us your pretty tables. I love your colorful centerpieces, they are wonderful. That black table setting is so dramatic, WOW. You sure have neat candle stuff...are you the reason I'm suddenly acquiring more candleholders? LOL. I'm finding them irresistable!

Congratulations on the new baby in the family. Nice to have that kind of event when dealing with funerals, hard to be sad around a baby. ;o)

Hope you get to relax soon, it sure seems your wedding preparations are well under control. And beautiful.
I'm excited, I think this is our first Forum wedding! At least in my time here.

WOW, MM...sounds like everything is rolling along smoothly!

Your t'scape is beautiful ... and I really like how you used those wrought iron candlesticks on the side cabinet.

I'm impressed that you took the time to do a special table and side table this week with all the other things going on! Everything looks lovely. Sure sounds like your arrangements are moving along nicely. So sorry about the funerals, it's always hard to lose someone special in our lives. So glad the new niece arrived to perk up everyone's spirits. Thanks for sharing with us. Luvs

I'm having a really good time planning so that helps (and a cooperative gentleman makes it that much better..lol).

Karen: I might be..lol Those candleholders are addictive and I find it's the one thing I buy the most of.
Unfortunatly I'm to far away to snuggle the new baby as she is in IL but we were able to watch her and visit with the family via webcam most of the day. It's not the same , but better than nothing.

Luvs: I prefer staying busy so all these things rolling along actually work nicely for me.
This week and next , we start the annual trek of graduations so more busy is in the near future.
I have a graduate coming for dinner next week as well so the table will feature the school colors.
One I'm really looking forward to putting together.

Once I get a few more things in that have been ordered and a couple of more floral projects done, I'll put together a "wedding post" to share. Stay tuned for that as delivery seems to be going sooo slow. lol

I've been really busy with work lately, and haven't been able to check many posts here... who's getting married and when?! lol!

I tried to look through old posts but for some reason the forum will only show me one page of threads now and the search function isn't returning any hits for me no matter what I enter. Is GW broken? or only saving enough threads to fill one page now? :(

Congrats on the new baby niece! :) The centerpieces are very nice!

I really like the black and white, it's very dramatic and how nice that you took time to do it. I simply can't stay out of the yard long enough to do one. The centerpieces are super and can't wait to see the wedding post.

Congratulations, milosmom!!! and it sounds like you are certainly well ahead of schedule with all you've listed as done! The colors in the centerpieces will be gorgeous for October.

And thanks to you and luckygal for letting me know it's not just me having problems with the forum!

I have to make 15 centerpieces for a 50th anniv party June 7th and I don't even know what I am doing yet!
