If you go onto Miele's website they have a listing of masterchef classes. I know they have them in NY and NJ..they may have them in other places, too. Planning on taking one in May/Juneish.

Sierra Select in San Francisco will cook and demo for you. Here is a link to their website. It would be fun to meet you there. I am in the SF Bay Area also and have been to Sierra Select several times, once for a cooked lunch. It was a tasty experience and they are very helpful.

Just what I was looking for! Thank you very much for the Sierra Select link and the other suggestions. I have just signed up for their class on April 25 - am a fairly accomplished home baker, but figure that this may be a good class that runs through all the various functions and which settings are best for what. Also - I am hoping there is a trick to be able to set the timer for more than 1 hr at a time! Would love to meet you at a class one of these days! Thanks so much!

The timer can be set for up to 59+ mins, as you know. For timing over an hour I use the delayed bake set up which handles it perfectly. I input the start time (immediate) and the end time (whenever).
