Checks and Toile

It has been very busy here since Memorial Day. Sat my sis and her dh from TX came and stayed till Tues. Sunday my oldest sis celebrated her 50th wedding anniv and I did 15 centerpieces for the party.

So I am trying to catch up on things here..

This is one of the tables we ate at while they were here..

Thanks for looking!

You have certainly been a busy woman Kathleen. Those red/white checked dishes of your's are some of my favorites. And the red chargers are so perfect with them and so is the red handled silverware. Those are some fancy dish towels--love them.

That salad looks yummy and sounds so fresh--and I really love fresh pineapple when I can find a good ripe one. Looks like everyone had a great time at the beach too. Hope you get a chance to relax a bit now that the company is gone and things might slow down a bit.

TFS.

Very beautiful & festive table! I thought "dishtowels" when I first saw the table! What an idea!...cause there always are such beautiful ones! And these are perfect for your 'scape!

Love the reds! And that t'cloth is a beauty! The covered little glass pcs (butter?) is something I've never seen...like that! Flower centerpc is gorgeous...can even see the thorn on the rose!

What a lovely setting for your sis & family! TFS! (and I'm hungry now, too!)...yummy! TFS!

Kathleen, another beautiful show from you. I scrolled through your whole post and loved it all again. You have such talent and I'm sure your guests enjoyed all of it. I think I gain weight from just looking at all your yummy food pictures.

I loved looking at all your dishes in storage. I need to quit now while I still have room for MOST of mine.LOL I do want to go look at the dish rooms when I have more time.

Jumping in here a little late Kathleen.
I have to add that those Red & White check dishes are one of my favorites sets of yours too. Also being a
'Toile Lover'...I just love how you paired them up with those toile dishtowls! Such a fresh and cheerful look to everything...not to mention your wonderful menu.
