Angels!

Good afternoon from England!

We've tipped over the middle of the year and it's downhill to Christmas all the way. My church has a new fund called the Angel Fund - we are converting the back half into a community centre and that attracts Big charity funding (eventually, you wouldn't believe how hard the forms are); but we also need to completely re-order the 'worship' end of the building and for that we need to raise the money ourselves. That's the Angel Fund. Come mid-September (our saint's day) and then on into Christmas, the Verger and I want to have a totally Angel craft table at the big BBQ - and although I used to make lots and lots of angel stuff a few years ago, my brain has dried up completely! Age, poor thing.

I'm looking for quick and easy things mostly; it would also be good to have some things that kids can make, so that we can start to get all ages really involved in this.

The one that's really bugging me that I can't find is the 'pen wipe' angel pin, made out of wrapped yarn.

I would be so grateful for any help anyone can give me!

Here is an Angel tie that I bought. I think you could figure out how to make them. The wings are from fun foam but could be cardboard or stiffened cloth

I POSTED HOW I MAKE MY FEATHER ANGELS ...MY OWN DESIGN. EARLIER FOR SOMEONE LOOKING FOR ORNAMENT IDEAS. I MAKE LOTS OF ANGEL ORNIES... COFEE FILTER ANGELS ARE PRETTY EASY. I DO THE YARN TASSEL ANGELS AS WELL. I WISH I COULD FIGURE OUT HOW TO POST A PIC IN HERE. IF EVER I FIGURE IT OUT I WILL POST PICS . SORRY COULDNT BE MORE HELP.

If you wouldn't mind, please don't use all uppercase letters, that is considered as "yelling" on most computer forums.
