Could you eliminate the window altogether? Perhaps you could put in a skylight (tubular or regular) instead of a window.

I am not sure if you can eliminate the window or not and still be up to code. I am waiting on a call back from my builder on that one. I can't put in a skylight due to the roofing that is already there and the expense. I was hoping there was another layout that could remedy this easily that I just wasn't seeing.

Why can't you put a window in a brick wall if you are building new? I would tell the builder to get a lintel and get to it!

what about a pocket door and place the sink next to the shower centered on the wall apposite to its current location? move the toilet over so its not against the window. I would not eliminate the window, and if this is new construction, there is no reason why you cannot have a window on a brick wall. People do it all the time. what is the reason the contractor says the window cannot go on the brick wall?

I am so sorry, I should have mentioned that we are closing in our carport and storage building. The brick walls are on the storage building.

You could "borrow" light from the adjacent hall with an interior window next to the bathroom door. Place high in the wall to provide privacy.
